Hydraulic seal Rubber seal material

The quality of the Sealing material directly affects the operation of the equipment. A good sealing material can prolong the operation time of the equipment, reduce leakage and reduce pollution.

At present, the commonly used materials are synthetic rubber and synthetic resin. There are many varieties of synthetic rubber, and the most widely used are nitrile rubber and polyurethane rubber.

Nitrile rubber has good oil resistance, heat resistance, cold resistance, pressure resistance, mechanical Seal and water resistance of rotating equipment, and has suitable wear resistance. The usual mechanical seal degree of temperature dyeing and finishing is about: -40° C-+120°C, it is easy to use metal molding to form Hydraulic Seals of any shape. Therefore, nitrile rubber is most suitable for making hydraulic seals for hydraulic cylinders with a working pressure of not more than 32MPa.

Polyurethane rubber has high tensile strength, and has excellent oil resistance, heat resistance, cold resistance, pressure resistance and wear resistance of mechanical seals for fluoroplastic pumps. The usual operating temperature is -40°C-+80°C. Polyurethane The normal temperature sealing performance of rubber is superior to that of nitrile rubber, and it is especially suitable for making hydraulic seals for medium pressure, high pressure and ultra-high pressure hydraulic cylinders.

Synthetic resins mainly include polyoxymethylene, nylon and filled polytetrafluoroethylene. Widely used is filled polytetrafluoroethylene, which is a high-grade material formed by adding suitable fillers such as graphite, molybdenum disulfide, bronze powder, carbon black and glass fiber to the monomer of polytetrafluoroethylene. Because the carbon atoms in the polytetrafluoroethylene molecule are closely surrounded by the fluorine atoms with the strongest negative charge among the halogen elements, the chemical stability is very good, and it has good oil resistance, heat resistance, cold resistance, and pressure resistance. resistance and wear resistance, the usual operating temperature is about -100°C-+260°C. At the same time, because the van der Waals force between molecules is very small, there is almost no viscosity, and the friction coefficient is also extremely small; it can work normally even under the condition of little or no oil lubrication. It is especially suitable for making hydraulic seals for high-pressure and ultra-high-pressure fast-moving hydraulic cylinders.
